Tributary Wins Best Graphic Designer and Named One of Portland’s Top Design Studios

We have some exciting news to share—Marielle Balogh, our founder and creative director, was named Best Graphic Designer in Portland in Willamette Week’s 2025 Best of Portland Readers' Poll. And Tributary Design Studio was voted one of the Top Graphic Design Studios in the city.

To say we’re honored is an understatement.

Over 31,000 readers cast more than 375,000 votes this year, and being recognized in a city filled with so much creative talent is incredibly meaningful. These awards reflect the relationships we’ve built, the care we put into every project, and the trust our clients place in us to bring their ideas to life.

Even more special? Two of our amazing clients were also recognized this year:
Spoke & Word Books, a beautiful and deeply thoughtful neighborhood bookstore, was ranked second place as Best Bookstore in Portland. That’s right below the iconic Powell’s!
Volat Law, a bilingual English and Spanish firm known for their fierce compassion for small businesses, voted top Lawyer category

MakeWith, a creative reuse and community workshop space that helps Portlanders build, repair, and dream sustainably, was nominated Best Sustainable Business!
